Here I Go..

[Mood: Bored ]
[Music: Waking Ashland - Silhouettes ]

I thought I've given up on blogging, but I was wrong. So for all you blogreaders who find people's life interesting, you're out of luck! Because my life is as dull as a word that rhymes with "dull". Since the summer, emotionally, life has been moving smoothly with a couple of big detours within.. I think my perceptive of life changed around the new year when I solemnly made it a resolution to have a positive perceptive on life. Although, I was in the process of transitioning, I still had a feeling of loneliness and it was such a drag.. The preception of not having anything sucks.. Until I found a group of good friends.. They had surely made my life a bit more interesting.. I don't really know how to continue this blog because there is a bit of me that don't want to give too much exposure of thoughts.. oh well, later days.

Martial Arts movies are so COOL!

[Mood: confused]
[Music: Fall Out Boy - Grand Theft Autumn]

Today, I woke up around 1 PM because I'd a very long conversation with Jessica Ly on the phone, she kept me up till 4 AM! I had no plans today, so I'd decided to watch a movie and it so happens that my dad owned a Bruce Lee, one of the most greatest and influential martial art figure of the 20th century, movie! It was called "Fists Of Fury" which was made back in 1972! HUH?! That's pretty damn old. Here's a quick summary of the story from Yahoo! Movies, "A young martial arts expert makes a solemn vow to refrain from using his "Fists of Fury," and takes a job in an ice factory. When he discovers that the company is a front for a drug smuggling operation, he is forced to break his vow." I liked the movie because it was so corny and pretty fascinating to see Bruce Lee in action! I liked it most when he grunts or does his little war cry! Like the "WAATAA" (as Jennifer Dao said). After the movie, I did a little research on Wikipedia.com and just read about Bruce Lee. Yeah, I tend to read about the person after I watch documentaries but in this case, the movie was not a documentary but I didn't care. So that was basically my day, ADIOS!

MATERIAL ARTS ROCKS!

What a unique poster!

Orientation, orientation, orientation.

[Mood: Grumpy ]
[Music: Saosin - Play Pretty For Baby ]

This morning was quite pain because I woke up at 6 and every hour after i just kept of waking up. Around 9:00 AM, I got up and started getting ready for orientation and I burned myself doing "yeah". Then at 10:00 AM, Fred picked me up and we were off to school for orientation. As we arrived and walked to the gym, we ran into Treng and damn.. did she boss us around! We were assigned to the small gym to work the ASB/Yearbook and it was quite alright. I was working with Ian and Katen at the tables and damn did we'd fun because we'd found ways to entertain ourselves by being jerks! After the sophomore's orientation, Tracy, Melanie, Fred, Ian and I drove to JambaJuice and got some drinks as a treat, I guess. I got this Aloha Pineapple crap and it was surely crap! DON'T BUY IT! Then we headed back to school and just hung out for two hours and they were quite fun! =D The day continued tiring and that was basically it.

Schedule:
1ST - ENG LANG/COMP/AP - VOSS
2ND - BIOLOGY/AP - VERNA
3RD - BIO LAB/AP - VERNA
4TH - MATH ANALYSIS - NGUYEN
5TH - LEADERSHIP - BERG
6TH - SPANISH 2 - ALVAREZ

MARVIN THE MARTIAN!

[Mood: Spacey ]
[Music: Hot Hot Hot - Goodnight, Goodnight ]

Today was pretty dull. Around 7:00pm, I went to see a soccer game with my cousin. It was a contest between the Deportivo Alavés @ San Jose Earthquakes, it was a pretty brutal match they'd going. It was interesting because a bench clearing brawl broke out right infront of us! hahah.. yeah!!!! The match ended in a 1-1 draw and that was my day.

This is my first ever big prize, Marvin The Martian, that I'd won from CircusCircus! I feel kind of proud in a way.. Well, here it is!..

vacations aren't always fun.

[Mood: -_-' ]
[Music: The Dream Academy - Life In The Northern Town ]

*This post was inspired by the one and only PHILIP NGUYEN! okay.. So it wasn't really inspired by Philip but whatever.*

Last friday, I went on a family vacation with my family, of course, and two other things called "Tiffany & Amy". The roadtrip was quite unbearable since my parents were listening to their vietnamese music! Luckily, Tiffany had broughten her ipod (with a limited selection of songs). We first headed to Los Angeles where we stayed at the Hilton Hotel in Irvine/Orange County. When I first got their, I'd decided to call my friend, Julia, to see if she would like to do something since I was close by and probably won't be back in years. She said she was busy so whatever, nobody wants to spend some quality time with me, sadly. During our stay in LA, we went to Universal Studios. Universal Studios wasn't that great but it was entertaining with all it's shows, rides, etc. After taking a film class at EVC, I was very eagered to go on the studios tour and see all the cool sets and while we were there, we saw the set of War of the Worlds it was pretty nice. The next day, we were on our way to Las Vegas where I did a lot of shopping and just hung out with my good friend, Steven. In Vegas, I went to CircusCircus for 45 minutes and won three big prizes("Marvin The Martian") and a couple small prizes playing the horse game, where you roll the red ball into the holes. I only spent $16 dollars so I felt as if I accomplished something great! but actually, it was kind of pathetic. Well, that's all that actually happened on this wonderful trip. Ta Ta.

I've been dying to tell you anything..

[Mood: ???]
[Music: Fall Out Boy - Sugar ,We're Goin' Down]

8 days later... Sorry that it too me so long to blog, I wasn't really in the mood to jot down whatever happened since July 1st. On the 2nd and 3rd, my cousins came down from Sacramento to pay a visit. I haven't seen them in a while, so I was glad they'd paid a visit. July 3rd, when my cousins departed my house to go back home, my other cousins picked to go to the theaters. Phi & I watched "War Of The Worlds", directed by Steven Spielberg, and the others watched Batman Begins. I enjoyed the movie but it ended so abruptly, which made it disappointing.. July 4th, our Independence day, I attended a little get together at the Ranch's Bridge. Cristal, Antoine & I made chicken wings are my house which took forever, but it was worth it! I dont' remember what I did on the 5th but on the 6th, I went to the movies with Sarah, Aldin, Philip & his cousins to watch Batman Begins. It was unbelievable.. Best movie I've seen all year. The 8th was a fantastic day, Thanks to Jennifer Phu Le! I went to Happy Hollow with Cindy, who is super cool, around 10:30 then met up with Phi, Mimi, Jennifer, Kathie, Kevin & Jenny. After Happy Hollow, we'd split up to go watch Fantastic 4. I went with Phi, Mimi, Jon & their friend Linda, who got us free tickets! THANKS!. Today, we'd our first carwash today and it was pretty successful. That's basically it in the life of Andrew.. LAME!!

Jessica Alba is HOT!

I liked this movie for some damn reason..

First "Noir" film I've ever seen, and it Wasn't that bad

Birds go flying at the speed of sound.

[Mood: ???]
[Music: Coldplay - Speed of Sound ]

Today, I woke up from a very strange dream, which is a little too personal to explain, and it basically shaped my day. So it was 12Pm and I had no plans, which was pretty lame but whatever. I watched the "Last Samurai" Starring Tom Cruise (who is also starring in the latest movie "War Of The Worlds"), Ken Watanabe (Batman Begin), and many more. I liked the ending, even though I've seen it before but still, very intense and dramatic. I loved the emperor in this movie! HAHAHA, he sounded like a queer, no offense. Jenny took me to the library to drop off a book and that was basically my day, except this part of the day where I'm sitting here blogging on my computer. Adios amigos.
